The Income Generation Program aims to boost the competitiveness of individuals and micro-entrepreneurs, increase employment, and reduce economic inequality, contributing to a stable, independent local economy and higher household incomes.
The Capacity Building Training helps micro-entrepreneurs refine their business models. Participants share successful practices, exchange experiences, and identify opportunities to improve product quality and business potential. They also receive handbooks on “Registration of Micro-Business Income and Expenses,” which aid in assessing financial situations and maintaining accurate records.
Good Neighbors Mongolia offers vocational training in areas like sewing, cooking, welding, and construction. Acquiring these skills boosts employability and improves household income and livelihoods.
We provide training, micro-loans, and support to micro-entrepreneurs. In 2023, in collaboration with Khan Bank, the program launched micro-loan activities. Several entrepreneurs used these loans to expand their businesses, covering equipment, working capital, and inventory costs.
Independent trade fairs were also held to help them promote their brands and products. As a result, they were able to support their children’s education, purchase additional equipment, and increase production capacity.
