🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ GOOD RUN – CHILDREN’S MARATHON 2026

Good Neighbors Mongolia successfully organized “Good Run – Children’s Marathon 2026” in Nalaikh District under the slogan “Run – Learn – Protect,” with the aim of increasing children’s knowledge and understanding of their rights, promoting child participation, and encouraging healthy and active lifestyles.

A total of 500 children aged 6–14 from six general education schools in Nalaikh District participated in the marathon across three age categories. Through running, the children not only experienced the value of a healthy and active lifestyle but also strengthened their knowledge and understanding of children’s rights.

This year’s marathon went beyond being a sporting event by incorporating interactive children’s rights activities designed to create an environment where every child knows their rights, understands how to protect them, expresses their views freely, and participates in matters that affect them.

💡 Through the interactive children’s rights activities, participants learned about the four fundamental principles of children’s rights through play, discussion, identifying potential hazards, and expressing their own opinions, while connecting these concepts to situations in their everyday lives.
