Good Neighbors Mongolia is implementing the “Strengthening Child Rights and Protection System in Mongolia” project for 2024–2027. With the aim of disseminating policies, the current situation, practical experience, and implementation-level challenges related to the child protection system to frontline professionals, as well as strengthening intersectoral collaboration, this Intersectoral Consultation Meeting was organized for the third consecutive year.
Strengthening the Child Protection System Project – Joint Sectoral Consultation
Good Neighbors Mongolia organized the third annual "Strengthening the Child Protection System" sectoral consultation in collaboration with the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Welfare and the Ministry of Education.
The consultation brought together over 150 representatives from key organizations, including the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia, the Crime Prevention Coordination Council, the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Welfare, the Ministry of Education, the General Police Department, as well as social protection and education sectors. The discussions focused on critical issues in child protection, current policies and practices, challenges and lessons learned, enhancing cross-sectoral cooperation, solutions, capacity-building needs for child protection professionals, and human rights education for children.
