Empowering School Psychologists through SEL Training under the “Gerel Asaa II” Project

Since 2015, Good Neighbors Mongolia has been actively supporting the implementation of Children’s Rights Clubs in secondary schools to promote children’s right to express their views and participate. These clubs are self-governing groups led by children who advocate for children’s rights and developmental opportunities.

Adolescent pregnancy and abortion rates remain high in Mongolia, with recent data showing no signs of decline—and in some cases, an upward trend. In response, health and education experts convened to discuss the quality, accessibility, and policy environment of reproductive health education for adolescents, reaching shared insights grounded in the realities of the current system.
